Girly Fruit : Sugar Plum
Okay. Weirdo confession time. I am mildly obsessed with the anthropomorphization of food and food related products. (To ascribe human characteristics to things not human.)
So…I decided to start a mini project of something I’ve been toying with for a few years now. It’s a set of images/ideas I’ve called “Girly Fruit”. It’s basically a mixture of pin-up poses and produce — fruit that is!
My first contribution to this set is called “Sugar Plum” — and she’s a tempting beauty. I’ve always loved the combination of the colors purple and green. So this was an especially fun image.
Honestly, I had no idea how to even begin such an oddball task. I looked at pictures of pin-up girls, and then I looked at pictures of fruit. And somewhere along the way the two just squished together in my brain. The final result is this dark n’ lovely…crawling about while spritzing herself with the sweetest of perfumes. Whore! (just kidding) Stay tuned for other Girly Fruits.
